Rev. J. MacInnes. A Church Parade was also held on the 30th. July 1950 when the brethren marched to the Church in full regalia.

At a meeting held on the 5th. November 1952, it was raised that a fund should be set up for the eventual construction of a Lodge. It was decided that the best time to raise funds was in the Autumn when a produce sale might be successful.
On the 6th. January 1954, it was decided to appoint a committee to investigate how they could secure a permanent Lodge of their own.

At a building committee meeting held on the 26. July 1954, information was given that a valuation had been placed on a building known as the Institute Latheronwheel. This was £250.
It was recommended that the Institute be purchased at that figure. This recommendation was put to the Lodge at a special meeting held on the 4th. August, when it was agreed to purchase the Institute. This was eventually carried out on the 8th. September 1954, when a cheque for the sum of £250 was sent to W. J. Storm solicitors who handled the transaction.

R.W. Master of Lodge John O' Groat, St. Peter's and St. Fergus.

and Bro. Mowat of St. Peter's.

The first regular meeting was held in the new hall on the 2nd. November 1955. No indication in the minutes as to whether the Lodge was dedicated.

At a meeting held on the 20th. Feb, 1957 two Wardens chairs was gifted to the Lodge by PM Dr. G.H. Sinclair who at this meeting was presented with a Distinguished Diploma as a token of the Lodge's appreciation.

At a meeting held on the 20th. November, 1963, a Rough and a Perfect Ashlar was presented to the Lodge, by Brothers W.Tait and W.Gunn of St Peter's Lodge No.284. The gifts were gratefully accepted by the R.W.M. and thanked the brethren for their generosity.

At a meeting held on the 18th. March 1964, it was intimated that the Lodge should be consecrated when the Grand Lodge visited the Province. No date as to when this will take place but will be after the building program was completed.

It is recorded, that a special meeting held on the 18th. November 1964, that due to a power failure the proceedings had to be carried out by candle light, which appreciably added to the dignity of the meeting. The degree being worked was that of Fellowcraft.

The question of the Lodge Consecration was again brought up at a meeting held on the 5th. October 1966. The secretary was to contact Provincial Grand Lodge and report back to the Lodge. Two globes fitted to the Lodge room were gifted by Brother G. Galleitch of St Fergus Lodge.

The question of the Lodge Dedication was again raised at a meeting held on the 2nd. April 1969. At the next meeting held on the 16. April, it was decided to hold their 21st birthday celebration in conjunction with the Lodge being consecrated. This was due in May that year. Up to the 6th. January 1971 the Lodge still had not been consecrated.

The Lodge was dedicated on the 2nd. October 1971 by the Most Worshipful Grand Master Brother David Liddel-Grainger Of Ayton, assited by Brother Robert A .Miller, the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master. A dinner to celebrate the occasion was held in the Portland Arms Hotel in Lybster.

On the 25th. May 1973, the Lodge celebrated its Silver Jubilee by holding a dinner in the Portland Arms Hotel in Lybster. At the Divine Service held in the Lodge to mark the Silver Jubilee, the Provincial Grand Chaplain dedicated a new pedestal donated by the R.W.M. Bro. W.H.Sutherland.

It was reported to the Lodge that during excavation work being carried out at the North Quay at Wick Harbour, quite a large stone had been retrieved from the rubble, after blasting operations had been carried out by Kestrel Marine.

After a careful scrutiny by an observant electrical contractor Bro. W.J.MacCleod and the harbour master Bro. Hamish Moore, revealed that it bore the 'Mark' of a Mark Master Mason, which was cut on the stone perhaps,  ( one hundred and fifty years or more ago.) P.M Gunn had the stone removed to Lodge St Fegus No.466 for further cleaning and research into its history.

The work on renovating the hall is still in progress and will continue so.
